Volunteer as a Los Altos Art Docent!

We are looking for new volunteers to join us! Come learn more about the Los Altos Art Docent Program at an Informational Coffee on Wednesday, August 23^rd from 10:00 to 11:30am at the LASD Board Room 201 located at 201 Covington Road, Los Altos. See this link for more details.

The Los Altos Art Docents are a dedicated group of trained volunteers who teach art lessons to the elementary schools in the district. Art education is about more than showing students how to draw a tree or recognize a Van Gogh. It’s about preparing young minds for an entire future of invaluable experiences.

Our volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds but share a love of art and working with children. In return for a couple of hours of your time each week, docents benefit from an ongoing education program, field trips, social activities and an incredible sense of community.
